Although tallow is a natural byproduct of the meat industry, tallow's environmental impact is comparable to similary used vegetable oils, like palm oil. Regenerative and grass-fed farming practices can have positive impacts on soil health, carbon sequestration, and animal welfare. We choose tallow that is sourced in the US and grass fed.

The coconut oil we use is certified organic coconut oil made from fresh coconuts sourced directly from farmers in the coconut regions of the Philippines. Each jar is cold-pressed, unrefined coconut oil that is Non-GMO Project Verified, certified gluten-free, and paleo-friendly.

Micas are naturally occurring minerals that are found in granite and other rocks. They have reflective and shimmering properties that we use to color our soaps.
Our mica supplier hold themselves to the highest ethical standards inlcuding eithical sourcing, no animal testing, and only using vegan ingredients.

Fragrances used exclude materials with health concerns including those on California's Prop 65 list. These items that arent allowed in the fragrances are carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, and acute toxins. Our infused castile soap only uses esential oils for fragrance.
